Impact Goal

Inspire middle and high school students from underserved and underrepresented communities to explore their interests by giving them access to take a behind the scenes look at the many ways Disney storytellers bring best-in-class stories and experiences to life.

STRATEGY

Curate and produce two live virtual educational opportunities that allow students and educators to interact with and learn from Disney storytellers, including authors, animators, and actors.

Utilize the Picture Motion screening network to target underrepresented and underserved students in key markets.

Offer young people access to The Walt Disney Company’s expertise in effort to to inspire & empower them to use their voice to tell their own stories.

Condense takeaways, data, and feedback from events to develop a roadmap and recommendations for future youth programs.

To make this powerful film accessible, inspire attendees to think about the world around them, and champion the need to protect the planet.

Encourage global conversations about the role of big business in perpetuating the plastic pollution crisis, while also connecting audiences to the film’s movement partner, Break Free From Plastic, to take action towards a plastic-free world.
